Our entire repair process is carefully structured to protect your privacy.
We limit access to customer information databases, and only employees necessary
to the repair process have access to our customers' laptops.
NoteFix employees do not look at the information stored on your hard drive. The
diagnosis and repair process uses only computer memory, or RAM, which does not
store information.
-
NoteFix will never sell, rent, or give away your personal information
to other companies for any reason.
-
However, when you receive services directly from a third party, such as a
shipping company, your personal information is treated in accordance with that
service provider's privacy policy, even though you may have purchased the
services through NoteFix.
NoteFix uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption from VeriSign, Inc. to protect
your personal and financial information during online transactions. SSL
works by creating a temporary "key" that lets only the recipient and sender of
a transmission unscramble information. To anyone between the sender and the
receiver, including all the servers that relay this message, the SSL
transmission is indecipherable.
We charge your credit card for our services only when we have completed
our repair process. If charges appear at any other time, please contact
NoteFix customer service.
For your protection, never put your credit card number or other sensitive
information in an unencrypted email. In the unlikely event that we suspect your
credit card number has been intercepted, we will notify you immediately.
If you have any questions about this privacy statement or the practices of this
site, please contact NoteFix at 1-877-20-RAVEN.
